Jeremy Renner on the mend – signs of life from rehab

Hollywood actor Jeremy Renner continues to fight his way back into life after his serious accident. On his Instagram account, the Marvel star once again let his fans participate in his rehabilitation measures. In one of his stories, Renner showed how the muscles in his leg are stimulated with electrical impulses. He underscored the short video with the Beatles hit “Lady Madonna”.

The 52-year-old was seriously injured in an accident earlier in the year. The sheriff’s office later revealed that Renner was run over by his own snowcat on New Year’s Day on his mountainside property a few miles from Lake Tahoe. He is said to have previously tried to free a family member’s car that got stuck after a heavy snowstorm.

Noticing that the seven-ton vehicle had started to roll after he had briefly got out, Renner is said to have tried to jump back in. According to the sheriff, that’s when the actor was pulled over and sustained blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries.

Jeremy Renner has broken more than 30 bones

Due to the previous snowstorm, the emergency services had trouble getting to the scene of the accident. The star could only be flown to the hospital by helicopter and operated on there about an hour after the emergency call. and thus officially gave the all-clear that he was over the mountain.

Renner later announced via Instagram that he had broken more than 30 bones in the accident. But everything would “grow back together and be stronger than before. Just as the love and connection with my family and friends deepens”. He also published a picture of him lying in his hospital bed at his home in Nevada, USA, with a physical therapist taking care of him.
