“You do not have to know about art to buy a work” is the motto with which the fair is promoted on social networks, with a view to the realization of the event that brings the public closer to the artists without intermediaries, devised by the artist Ana Spinetto, her director.
For almost a decade, BADA has been proposing a direct sales platform between artists and the public, without intermediaries or gallery owners: it is the artists who will be in front of their stands to show their works in a hand-in-hand meeting with the public.
The Chaco Milo Lockett, who always maintained a self-management profile and has participated in BADA since its first edition in Pilar in 2012, will also be part of the game in this new post-pandemic edition, along with other creators such as Juanjo Fillol, Camila Desimone, Gastón Villalva , Vivana Arce, Carolina Filice, Alejandro Botto, Laura Rendano and more.
In parallel to the face-to-face fair, for two years – continuing with the central concept of BADA – artists have the possibility of disseminating and selling their works directly, 365 days a year, from their online platform www.shop.bada .com.ar.
Hundreds of established and emerging artists participate in each edition of BADA, while during the previous eight editions the fair gathered almost 2,000 stands and, in 2019, it received the visit of 70,000 people.
The ninth edition of BADA will take place from October 14 to 17 from 14 to 21 in La Rural (Avenida Sarmiento 2704, City of Buenos Aires), with general admission 350 pesos.
