Former German ESC participant Ann Sophie made the coaches enthusiastic about “The Voice of Germany”.
In the “The Voice of Germany” episode on Thursday (October 14), a familiar face faced the coaches’ judgment: Ann Sophie Dürmeyer (31) dared. The singer took part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 and was the replacement of Andreas Kümmert (35), who canceled his participation. The singer went home with O points in the end. “It wasn’t that easy, it hurts you. It took me three years to go to auditions again and I still doubt every day whether I’m good enough,” Ann Sophie said before her TVOG appearance. If anyone turns around, she would be encouraged, “that I know that I am right on stage,” explained the musician.
With her performance on “Summertime” she convinced the coaches in the third edition of the Blind Auditions. Sarah Connor (41) and Nico Santos (28) turned their chairs after just a few seconds. It was followed by Mark Forster (38) and Johannes Oerding (39). Moved to tears, Ann Sophie accepted the standing ovations and enthusiastic comments from the coaches. After a joint performance with Sarah Connor, the decision was not difficult, the candidate joined Connor’s team.
