The 73rd Berlin International Film Festival ends after ten days on February 26th. This year, American actress Kristen Stewart had the honor of serving as jury president.
Film contributions that could now hope for an award could be submitted until mid-September 2022. This year the following films were awarded a golden or silver bear:
Berlinale winners 2023:
– The Golden Bear for Best Film went to “Sur l’Adamant”.
Other Silver Bears received:
– Grand Jury Prize: “Red Sky” by Christian Petzold
– Jury Prize: “Mal Viver” by João Canijo
– Best Director: Philippe Garrel (“Le grand chariot”)
– Best Performance in a Leading Role: Sofia Otero (“20,000 especies de abejas”)
– Best acting performance in a supporting role: Thea honor (“Until the end of the night”)
– Best Screenplay: “Music” by Angela Schanelec
– Outstanding artistic achievement in the categories camera, editing, music, costume or set design: “Disco Boy” by Hélène Louvart
