With several postings on Facebook, Aaron Carter’s mother Jane Schneck wants to trigger an investigation into her son’s death. She doesn’t believe the singer died of an accidental overdose.
The death of only 34-year-old Aaron Carter in November last year dismayed fans and companions. A housekeeper found the singer’s lifeless body in his bathtub and tried to revive him – but without success.

An autopsy is still pending, but one thing is certain Carter’s death was not an accidental overdose: his own mother, Jane Schneck. On Facebook, she shared several photos of the bathroom where Carter was found in the tub. You can see the tub itself, almost filled to the brim with green water. You can also see dirty towels and clothes as well as the dirty tiled floor of the bathroom.
“I’m still trying to get a real inquest into the death of my son Aaron Carter. I want to share these crime scene photos with you all because the coroner dismissed the death as an accidental overdose. Because of his addiction history, the crime scene was never investigated as a possible crime scene ‘ she wrote, revealing that her son had received death threats for years.

She also wondered why the towels were “perfectly placed” when the maid pulled Carter out of the tub to revive him. “A mother always fights for her child. (…) I just want a proper investigation. Yes, he had a lot of problems, but he never intended to die that way! The tub was still full. No signs for even being in there. No water on the floor. Also, Betty the housekeeper is gone,” she wrote on Facebook.
An initial investigation showed that Carter did not drown because no water was found in his lungs. In a statement published by Rolling Stone, the police took a stand on Schneck’s allegations. “Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the death of Aaron Carter. To date, the investigation has found no evidence of homicide. The results of Mr. Carter’s autopsy are pending. The investigation is ongoing,” it said.
