Thanks to her new found freedom, Britney Spears celebrates Christmas in October. But she’s also scared.
Britney Spears (39) could finally get rid of the shackles of her guardianship in just a few weeks. But with her newly found freedom, the singer apparently also faces unexpected challenges. that she is celebrating Christmas way too early this year and shows a photo of a decorated Christmas tree that she has apparently already set up.
“Because why not?” Asks the singer. She believes that it is good to find more joy in life every possible path “and it is no secret what I have been through in the past. So maybe I will have to do things a little differently from now on”.
She is afraid of making mistakes
She wants to be honest, Spears opens the post. She has waited a long time and now that the time has come, she is afraid “that I will make a mistake”. For years she was told that it could end if she was successful at certain things, “but it never has”. She “worked so hard, but now that the time has come and the end is getting closer, I am very happy. But there are also many things that scare me”.
Apparently Spears is talking about the guardianship she has been fighting against for so long. The now 39-year-old was incapacitated in early 2008 and her father Jamie Spears (69) was appointed as a guardian. It was recently suspended and a court appointed a provisional successor until the end of 2021. After a hearing scheduled for November, guardianship could be a thing of the past.
“Lord have mercy on the souls of my family”
The behavior of the paparazzi, who would jump on the street when she was in the car, is “creepy,” continues Spears. She also drove past an elementary school on the way home and worried about the children who allegedly jump out to scare her. It is like “as if they want me to do something crazy”. She first noticed this when she held the keys to her car in her hands for the first time around four months ago in a good 13 years.
“I haven’t done anything to be treated like I’ve been treated for the past 13 years,” Spears continues. She wished to live in another country and was “disgusted” by the US system. A big reveal interview about what really happened in the past doesn’t seem to be on the agenda for now, at least. “Lord, have mercy on the souls of my family, if I should ever give an interview,” writes Spears. She wants to stay out of the music business for now. She had known nothing else in her entire life. And that is also the reason “why this is so confusing for me”.
