Citadelthe new big-budget spy thriller from Amazon Prime Video, released its official trailer. The drama is produced by the russo brothers (Avengers: Endgame) and the showrunner david weil (Hunters), and stars Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
Citadel is envisioned as a potential franchise starter: a global Avengers-style adventure where spies from various countries came together for the ultimate mission.
“Eight years ago, the Citadel fell. The independent global spy agency, tasked with keeping everyone safe, was destroyed by operatives from Manticore, a powerful syndicate that manipulates the world from the shadows. With the fall of the Citadel, elite agents Mason Kane (Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Jonas) had their memories wiped as they narrowly escaped with their lives. They have remained in hiding ever since, building new lives under new identities, unaware of their past. Until one night, Mason is tracked down by his old Citadel colleague Bernard Orlick (stanley tucci), who desperately needs your help to stop Manticore from establishing a new world order.
