The award is worth CHF 10,000 (EUR 10,030) and will be presented to the 61-year-old on May 3rd at the start of the 36th Olten Cabaret Days. “Cynical, bristly and vicious” would apply to Hader’s programs as well as “poetic”. “Favours, to whomever, are completely alien to him – and even more so to his audience,” was the reason given by the cabaret days for the award.
