The collaboration between Beyoncé and the sporting goods manufacturer Adidas is said to have ended, reports “The Hollywood Reporter”.
Beyoncé (41) and Adidas break up: citing insiders that the Grammy winner and the sporting goods manufacturer have terminated their collaboration.
In 2018, the musician and Adidas started a partnership with the sportswear line Ivy Park, among others. Apparently there were big creative differences of opinion in the collaboration, as it is now said. Beyoncé is excited to reclaim her brand, go her own way and retain creative freedom, writes The Hollywood Reporter.
“Wall Street Journal” recently reported bad numbers
If you believe one from the beginning of February, the allegedly bad sales figures could also have been decisive for the separation. However, Adidas denied the report without naming any figures and described the Ivy Park brand as “strong and successful”.
Ivy Park started out as a joint venture between Beyoncé and Topshop’s Sir Philip Green. Since 2018, the singer has been the sole owner of the brand. In January, Beyoncé presented Park Trail, the latest collaboration between Ivy Park and Adidas, in Dubai.
