US actress Katie Holmes (44, “Batman Begins”) has described it as “weird” when daughter Suri watches films or series in which she plays. She told the US film sheet Variety: “I’m not saying: ‘You have to look at mom’s work.’ But during the pandemic we laughed about it a lot.” For example, Suri watched the youth television series Dawson’s Creek, which made Holmes famous.
“It’s crazy to have a daughter who’s almost my age when I started all of this,” the actress continued. Holmes was 19 when the first episode of “Dawson’s Creek” aired, starring her as Joey Potter. Suri, now 16, is the child of Hollywood star Tom Cruise (60). The two married in 2006. In 2012, the couple announced their separation.
