On their third day in Germany, King Charles III. and his wife Camilla to the Hanseatic city of Hamburg. They will arrive there around noon with the ICE from Berlin and will then visit the memorial “Kindertransport – The Last Farewell”. Charles and Frank-Walter Steinmeier then lay wreaths at the St. Nikolai memorial during a commemorative ceremony. At 1:20 p.m., the monarch will arrive at Hamburg’s Rathausplatz, where royal fans have been waiting since the morning hours for the head of the British royal family. At City Hall, the royals will sign the city’s Golden Book. At 2:00 p.m. we go to the Dockland ship pier and from there on a boat trip. At 2.10 p.m., Camilla and Steinmeier’s wife Elke Büdenbender will visit the Rudolf Roß Elementary School. In the evening there will be a reception at the British Embassy.
