The 3rd edition of the TEGEhe III Latin American Festival of Performing Activities with Gender Themesbetween April 12 and 16 at the Cultura del Sur Cultural Center, Av. Meeks 1066, Temperley, Prov. of Buenos Aires and in educational institutions in the area.
More than 20 casts from Argentina, Chile, Peru, Mexico, Brazil and Colombia, among others, will participate in this festival in a mixed format (face-to-face and virtual). The programming (free or with popular tickets and cap) will include plays, poetry, circus, dance, talks, debates, workshops, parties and entrepreneur fairs with all the activities linked to various gender themes.
Artists from Argentina such as Thelma Fardin, Laura Azcurra, Anabel Cherubito, Ana Celentano, Valeria Stilman, Melisa Melcer, Lali Fischeramong others and companies and casts such as “Mala Madre” from Chile, “Cartas al viento” from Mexico, “Para darte vida” from Colombia, “Marlene” from Brazil, among other proposals such as the Sandungueo party, CPR workshop offered by Red Cross and tango entrepreneurs with a gender perspective.
In the first editions of the festival, more than 30 national and international casts and more than 2,000 spectators participated. The event is a space for meeting, promoting and exchanging performing arts created by women and sexual diversities from different Latin American countries.
