The 7th Da para REir! Theater-Humor Festival began in Bariloche.

A variety show with local artists kicked off the 7th edition of the Da Para REir! Theater-Humor Festival last night at the La Llave hall in San Carlos de Bariloche, which will offer 14 free performances on weekends in April (by Patagonian casts, from Buenos Aires and even a co-production with Ecuador) and training workshops also to the cap.

In the continuity of the meeting, the El Bolsón group Las Octetas will offer tonight (also in La Llave) and tomorrow (in the MoMa space) their show “Octetas sin fronteras”.

The festival is produced by the theater group Pim Pam Pum! and has support from the National Institute of Theater, Culture of Río Negro, the Future Management Program of the Ministry of Culture of the Nation and the Undersecretary of Culture of Bariloche.

Poke, a member of Pim Pam Pum!, a cast that performs Impro-Clown combining both disciplines, highlighted to Télam that within the framework of the proposal “both the workshops and the functions are consciously cap-driven because in this way we give the possibility to everyone can participate and go to the festival.”

The interpreter risked that Bariloche can host an experience of this type “because having a theater career in the city generates a seedbed of artists that feeds the local scene.”

The offer of workshops is underway this weekend with “Pincelada Payasa” by Mercedez Casal; Monday 3, 10, 17 and 24 Pim Pam Pum! will dictate one of “Impro-Gym”, on 6 and 7 Tranqui 120 will offer “Galumphing Experience”; on the 8th the “Cuerpo Lúdico” will be addressed by Alejandro Talarico and on the 22nd and 23rd there will be a “Guided Impro” proposed by Adrián Marre.

Meanwhile, the schedule of functions (always at 9:00 p.m.) will continue on Thursday the 6th with “Principle of Uncertainty”, by Alejandro Talarico, and Pim Pam Pum! at El Brote Theater; on the 7th with “Multitasking or the art of opening windows”, by Tranqui 120, in La Llave; on the 8th with “La vida terrenal”, by Compañía Extraordinaria at MoMa; and on the 9th with “Los Newberry”, by Los Hermanos Newberry, at MoMa.

On the 14th, “The Great Dissociation Man”, by Paulino Carbajo, will be seen at La Llave; on the 16th, “Impro Clown!”, by Pim Pam Pum!, will be at MoMa; on the 21st it will be the turn of “The Pabellón de los inconclusidos”, by Punto Cero Teatro, in La Llave; on the 22nd “Las Pascualas”, from Las Pascualas, will go on stage at MoMa; and the 23rd “Banquete de worms”, by La Zaraza, can be seen at MoMa.

The three closing functions will be: on the 28th and 29th with “Freak Show”, by Lukoreta Teatro, at La Llave; and 30 “Pitucos”, by Pitucos Impro, at MoMa.
