Marcelo Corazza released

The investigating judge Javier Sánchez Sarmiento prosecuted the former winner of Big Brother without preventive detention Marcelo Corazzainvolved in a case that investigates abuse and corruption of minors, and thus recovered his freedom.

Corazza was prosecuted for corruption of minors and obscene exhibitions and was seized for 2 million pesos.

His freedom is recovered from the Ezeiza Federal Penitentiary Complex, where he has been detained for several days after the complaint made by two young people in October last year.

Instead, the judge did indict Francisco Angelotti, Andrés Charpenet and Raúl Ignacio Mermet for more serious crimes. The first of them was the one who introduced Corazza to the minor who started the case in October of last year.

Angelotti, Charpenet and Mermet were prosecuted with preventive detention for the crimes of illicit association, trafficking in persons aggravated by the number of victims and that they are under 18 years of age, as well as the situation of vulnerability they were experiencing; sexual abuse with carnal access; and promotion of pornography.

According to the original complaint of two young people, the acts of abuse began in 1999 and throughout the months there were 11 victims identified by the Court. Some of them gave testimonial statements and others did not.

In addition, Judge Sánchez Sarmiento ordered searches and arrests after wiretapping that showed that the crimes were still being committed, hence the validity of the investigation despite the long passage of time since the first events.

Regarding Corazza, the complaint from a minor then 14 years old is that Angelotti introduced him to Corazza, and he undressed in his vehicle in front of him and masturbated. Therefore, the crime of obscene exhibitions for which the Court prosecuted him.
