It will be the first of his brand new “Funky Latin Tour 2023”, which will take him to tour several provinces and cities in Mexico.
Singer, songwriter and guitarist Dante Spinettawho has three decades of experience and became one of the benchmarks of urban music in Latin America, will present his fifth solo album, “Sweet table”on Friday, June 30 at 9:00 p.m. at the Opera Theater.
This concert will be the first of his brand new “Funky Latin Tour 2023”which will take him to tour several provinces and cities in Mexico in this first stage of materializing said repertoire on stage.

After appearing in lollapalooza argentinawhere he shared the stage for the first time with Vida, his daughter, Dante returns to the stage to show his funkera essence embodied in the sound that he always wanted to achieve and that came together in “Mesa dulce”, made up of 10 of his own songs, which were also produced by him, and recorded and mixed in the mythical Argentine studio La Diosa Salvaje, with luxury guests such as Trueno and Ca7triel.
In the midst of a pandemic, he began to compose the songs that make up this album, where he combines the sensuality of funk with “post-rap”, as he himself described during the interview, driven by the desire to do what his heart dictates.
“Sweet table” is dedicated to the memory of Patricia Salazarwho was inspired to compose the beautiful “First love”, where he sings “mother, I hope I can hug you in another life”.
After the successes of “El lado oscuro del corazón”, “Sudaka” together with Trueno and “Ridículos”, Dante arrives at Avenida Corrientes 850 to show his latest work live with the same band that accompanied him in the studio: made up of by Matías Méndez on bass, Pablo González on drums and Axel Introini on keyboards. Dante was in charge of the guitars, the voices, the beat and the production, and the wind arrangements were in charge of Michael B. Nelson, the same person who worked with Prince for many years.
