Alec Baldwin: He’s putting all projects on hold for now

After the fatal accident on the “Rust” set, Alec Baldwin has drawn the first steps: He is withdrawing from the public for the time being.

After the deadly drama on the set of the western “Rust”, lead actor Alec Baldwin (63) put all other projects on hold for the time being. He now wants to “take some time for himself and re-center”, the report continues.

This is how he acted again and again in difficult times in the past. The incident was naturally “quite devastating” for Baldwin, which is why he is now withdrawing completely from the public for a long time.

“Everyone knows it was an accident”

In addition, the insider reports that Baldwin reacted hysterically immediately after the tragedy and was heartbroken for hours: “Everyone knows it was an accident, but he is absolutely devastated.” Baldwin accidentally shot the cinematographer Halyna Hutchins (1979-2012) and injured the director Joel Souza (48) with a gun that was previously given to him as safe by an assistant director.

Unfortunately, there was no blank cartridge in the revolver, but live ammunition. How this happened is now part of the police investigation in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
