Pop singer Matthias Reim and his partner Christin Stark announced on an ARD show that they have been married for a year and a half and are expecting children.
Pop singer Matthias Reim becomes a father for the seventh time. The 63-year-old announced this on Saturday evening in the ARD live show “Schlagerboom 2021”. Reim was on stage with his partner Christin Stark. The 32-year-old sang the song “Baby, rock my heart”, which Reim and Stark wrote together. Not to be overlooked was a small baby bump that stood out under the singer’s white dress. “You want to announce something to us today. I think we are all slowly having a little premonition,” said moderator Florian Silbereisen after the performance.

Reim then confirmed: “We have fulfilled a wish and said: It is time. What is coming now is not just number seven, but our heart’s desire.” He also called Stark “the greatest stepmother” of his children. “My children love them.” In fact, Reim is already a father of six, and in a few weeks he will be celebrating his 64th birthday.
In 1987 his first son Bastian was born, followed by son Julian in 1990. Both boys have different mothers. With pop singer Michelle, he had a daughter Marie in 2000. Reim has two other children with his ex-wife Sarah Stanek, from whom he separated in 2013. In addition, the musician learned in 2015 that he has another illegitimate daughter.
