Jeremy Renner is already performing again after his snow plow accident. In Los Angeles, he walked to a TV studio with a cane.
Jeremy Renner’s (52) recovery seems to be going well. The actor, who was seriously injured in a snow plow accident on New Year’s Day, is increasingly returning to the limelight. Now the 52-year-old walked to an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”. He walked into the Los Angeles studio with the help of a walking stick. The Marvel star was reportedly cheered on by fans as he entered the studio and signed autographs for some of them, according to media reports. Renner received a standing ovation from the audience on the talk show. With a huge grin on his face, the actor even performed a little dance before taking his seat.
No organs destroyed
again about his serious accident. He confirmed that “about 35” bones were fractured in the process. The actor fell under his snow plow on January 1st. At the time, he was trying to get into the vehicle when the snow groomer rolled towards his nephew. Renner explained to Jimmy Kimmel (55) how lucky he was. The snow plow “missed all vertebrae”, did not destroy any organs, and his brain was not swollen. “My eye popped out, that’s weird, but yeah… I was very lucky that none of the organs were destroyed.”
Renner can even see something positive about the serious accident that almost cost him his life. “My first conscious thought was something like, ‘My calendar is free for the rest of the year!'” he joked. He actually had a fully planned year ahead of him. He added that his time in the hospital and recovery allowed him to lose weight and quit a vice. The Hollywood star explained that he had lost about 20 pounds and quit smoking.
With the appearance, Jeremy Renner also promoted his new documentary series “Rennervations”, which will be released in four episodes on April 12 on the Disney + streaming service.
