TMZ reported it today citing some sources close to the investigation of the case.
The police found live bullets on set in the same area of the accident and this could be another explanation for why a live ammunition ended up in the weapon that was supposed to be fictional.
Meanwhile, today it transpired that “Rust” film assistant director Dave Halls was the subject of complaints in 2019 about safety and his behavior on set during the filming of two film productions.
It was revealed by CNN, from the tragedy in which the actor Alec Baldwin accidentally shot the director of photography Halyna Hutchins.
Some sources told CNN that among the allegations against Halls was the breach of safety protocols on weapons, the pyrotechnic effects but also his sexual misconduct.
Halls is identified in police documents as the one who turned the gun over to Alec Baldiwn, with which Hutchins ended up dead.
