Book Fair 2023: when and where it will be
The Buenos Aires International Book Fair will open, for the general public, from Thursday April 27 to Monday May 15 and will be held in the rural, Buenos Aires Fairgrounds.
Days and hours
- Monday to Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- Saturdays, Sundays and Monday May 1 from 13 to 22.
- Saturday April 29. Due to the Night of the Fair, the hours will be from 1:00 p.m. to 00:00 p.m.
Official inauguration
He opening ceremony of the 47th Fair will take place on Thursday April 27 at 18. The writer Martin Kohan will be in charge of inaugural address. Admission to the event will be exclusively by special invitation.

Book Fair 2023: tickets, promotions and discounts
free admission
- Every day for children up to and including 12 years of age, school visits and people with disabilities.
- Every day for teachers. They must present a salary receipt or proof that proves their condition.
- Every day presenting CULTURAL PASS.
- Monday to Friday for students, retirees and pensioners. In all cases it is necessary to present proof of condition.
- Saturday April 29, Night of the Fair, with free admission from 8:00 p.m.
- Thursday, May 4, Banco Nación Day, for Bank members according to the modality that the BNA informs its clients.

entrance fees
- Monday through Thursday (except May 1): $800.
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays: $1,200.
- Pass three visits: $1,800. Exclusive online sale. The pass is personal and non-transferable, it allows a single visit per day to the Fair.
How to get the tickets?
Tickets can be purchased on-line on the website of the Fair or from April 27 in the ticket offices of the event.

Benefits with the purchase of the ticket
- Each visitor who purchases a ticket (for any day) or pass (for three visits) will receive a $1,200 checkbook to use at partner bookstores after the Fair ends.
- Each ticket will also be accompanied by discount vouchers that can be used to purchase books at the stands. $800 tickets will have 4 $200 vouchers. $1,200 tickets and passes will have 6 $200 vouchers. Each $200 voucher may be used to cover up to 10% of the payment on purchases of $2,000 or more. The vouchers are cumulative, for example: for the purchase of a book of $4,000.- you can discount $400 in two vouchers.
