First advance of The Continental, prequel series of John Wick

The series can be seen internationally through Amazon Prime Video.

The American streaming platform Peacock released a preview of The Continental the prequel series john wick.

While the sneak peek didn’t reveal much in terms of the plot, it did include a first look at some of the main cast, including Colin Woodell as a young Winston Scott, the manager of The Continental hotel.

The three-part event will explore the origin behind the iconic assassin hotel centerpiece of the John Wick universe through the eyes and actions of the young Winston de Woodell, as he is dragged into the Hell-scape of New York City. of 1970 to face a past that he thought he had left behind. Winston charts a deadly course through the hotel’s mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to take over the hotel where he will eventually take the future throne from him.

Woodell stars alongside Ayomide Adegunwho will play a young Charon, Peter Greenewho plays Uncle Charlie, Mel Gibson like Cormac, Ben Robson like Frankie, Hubert Point du Jour like Miles, Jessica Allan like Lou, Mishel Prada like KD and Nhung Kate like Yen.

Shawn Simmons, Greg Coolidge, and Kirk Ward co-created the series. Wayne’s creator Simmons wrote the first two episodes, and Coolidge and Ward serve as writers and showrunners at The Continental, and executive produce alongside Thunder Road Pictures’ Albert Hughes, Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee, Chad Stahelski, Derek Kolstad, David Leitch, Simmons, Paul Wernick, Rhett Reese, and Marshall Persinger.

Albert Hughes directs the first and third installments and Charlotte Brandstrom directs the second installment.

The Continental will premiere on Peacock in September 2023 and will be distributed internationally via Amazon Prime Video. A specific date for the release has not been announced.
