‘The Pussycat Dolls’ singer Kaya Jones: ‘I was pressured into having an abortion’

Former band member of “The Pussycat Dolls”, Kaya Jones, raises serious allegations. When she was part of the well-known band, she is said to have been pressured into having an abortion.

During an appearance on Fox Nation’s Tucker Carlson Today show, Kaya Jones once again opens up about her difficult time as a member of the band The Pussycat Dolls. Jones was publicly critical of the band time back in 2017. At the time, one wrote: “To be part of the team, you have to be a team player. That means whoever they say sleep with. If you don’t, you’re of no use to them”.

In another post, the singer even described membership in the band as a prostitution ring. “This is my truth: I wasn’t in a girl band. I was in a prostitution ring. Oh, and by the way we sang and were famous while everyone around us who owned us made money.”

Jones, who was a part of The Pussycat Dolls from 2003-2004, ups the ante on Tucker Carlson Today. She says that she was said to have been pregnant at the age of 19. The “rulers”, presumably the management, are said to have told her that she “should get rid of the pregnancy”. Jones elaborates on her allegation: “A majority of women don’t have children. I mean, there’s pressure and there’s enforcement about abortions. And, you know, if you’re pregnant, you get fired.”

‘The Pussycat Dolls’ Kaya Jones: Abortion Occurred Between Rehearsals

Jones underwent an abortion at age 16, and again at 19 as a band member. She further confesses on the show that she was afraid of losing her job as a singer if she carried the child. She aborted the embryo between rehearsals. During performances, Jones had the feeling that she was still bleeding. “It’s a horrible feeling after an abortion, it feels like a part of you has been taken away,” she said. The 38-year-old also addresses the topic of body shaming, saying that she was described as “fat” as a “pussycat doll” around the time of the terminated pregnancy.

Through a tragic story, a rape when she was 30 that ended in pregnancy, Jones underwent a third abortion. The “Movieguide” portal quotes the singer as saying: “You will regret it all your life. Even if I become a mother tomorrow, I am happily married and everything is fine, I will always have the three children I did not have still regret.”
