Lali: the new album by the Argentine pop princess

Lali released her self-titled album this Thursday with six new songs that add to her successful singles already published. She maintains the electropop style that characterizes the artist.

Lali Espósito released her fifth album called “Lali” on Thursday with an electropop style that identifies the artist. To the successful singles that had already premiered as “Discipline”, “Motiveishon” and “N5”six new songs with dance bases were added today.

Among the 13 songs on the album also there are the well-known songs “2 son 3”, “Diva”, “Como tú” and the most recent “Buy me a brishito”. One of the heartbreak songs that premiered this Thursday was “Obsession”, which opens the album and Lali tells everything about a breakup with someone who keeps looking for her but she rejects it.

Another of the new songs is “KO”what’s wrong with it guitar and vocals by Catriel. Lali on this occasion makes sexual references and challenges with a catchy chorus: “You don’t look for me if I know you won’t last a round; the light goes out, it’s a knock out.”

In her latest album, the most pop to date, the singer combines sounds from the 2000s and Madonna continues to be musically and stylistically embraced from the eighties with a style of electropop, dance and electronica.

The composition was in charge of Lali, Martin D’Agosto and Mauro De Tomassoartistically called “Triunvirato del Pop” and was recorded in Buenos Aires and Madrid.

In “Unconditional”, the singer also takes a space to go through the ballad and other less strident and softer rhythms in “Alone”, to pure synthesizer but with a “chill” approach, while the other novelty of the disc is the mellow and lascivious “Now”lesbian themed.

“This album is ‘Lali’ because it comes from the most sincere of my art and my person. I feel that it closes a cycle of my life and my career. Now a new path opens, for a new Lali. Long live Pop!”. It’s for you, undisciplined loves,” said the artist for the launch of the work.
