Hollywood star Reese Witherspoon (47) has appeared on a red carpet for the first time since her impending divorce from Jim Toth (52) became known. There was no trace of sadness when she appeared at the premiere of “The Last Thing He Told Me” on Thursday evening (April 13), on the contrary: in the elegant black off-shoulder midi dress, the actress beamed in a good mood up to both ears.
Separation after twelve years of marriage
Witherspoon made the separation from Toth public at the end of March, on April 1 she filed for divorce. The acting couple were married for 12 years and share a 10-year-old son, Tennessee. He is now “top priority,” Witherspoon wrote in a now-deleted statement on Instagram. With Toth she wants to remain connected in “deep love, kindness and mutual respect for everything we have created together”.
The AppleTV+ miniseries Tha Last Thing He Told Me has been available on the streaming service since April 14, 2023. Jennifer Garner (50) stars in the lead role. Reese Witherspoon served as executive producer on the thriller.
