Discrimination, sexism and homophobia in the chat group – the son of ex-model Katie Price was also affected. The London police are now banning two employees from the service.
The London police have apologized to British ex-model Katie Price (44) and her son Harvey for discriminatory messages about the 20-year-old. Two police officers wrote the texts and have been expelled from the police force for life by a disciplinary committee for gross misconduct – as have six former colleagues.
According to the information, the group posted racist, homophobic and sexist messages in a Whatsapp group between May 2016 and June 2018. Discriminatory statements have also been made about Harvey, who has disabilities.
“I am truly sorry for the horrible news that has been shared,” a PA news agency chief said after the hearing. London Mayor Sadiq Khan had also sharply criticized the behavior of the eight men.
