First to go was Rodrigo, who made tender chickpea empanadas and mozzarella empanadas with pecans. “The worst thing that could have happened to you is that they look very good,” was the only positive thing that Germán told him. Then it was Antonio’s turn, who made black humita empanadas and Asian chorizo ​​empanadas. “The dough is correct, the filling doubtful,” said Betular. Right away Rodrigo came by, who made ricotta pies with bacon and pork pies with ginger. “All very funny until it stops being funny,” Martitegui warned him. Later, María Sol presented empanadas with blood sausage and pears and portobello empanadas. “The filling is very good, it’s like rapt,” said Damián. Then came Juan Francisco, who presented shrimp empanadas with paprika and portobello, spinach and bacon empanadas. “They are spectacular,” Donato congratulated him.

Then Candelaria brought her vegetable empanadas and meat empanadas with jalapeño and tomato. “The meat is hard as a stone,” Martitegui told him. And finally, Juan Ignacio presented his grouper empanadas and mushroom empanadas and provolone. “You made a red wine flavored empanada,” Betular told him. So, the jury went to deliberate to define the eliminated of the night.

The first saved was Juan Francisco, highly praised by the way. Candelaria, Nacho, Rodrigo, María Sol and Antonio also received the happy news that they would continue in the competition, although their empanadas were “forgettable”, according to Donato.
