HBO confirmed the premiere date from Euphoria creator Sam Levinson. The series will have an exclusive debut at the Cannes Film Festival.
HBO announced that his original series “Idol” It will premiere on Sunday, June 4. and the network will release another erotic sneak peek of the series. The new video promotes the inclusion of the series in the selection out of competition of the Cannes Film Festival of this year.

Tesfaye is co-creator of the series with sam levinson and Pray Fahim. Levinson took over directing duties for the series after the director Amy Seimetz will leave the show in April 2022 “due to a change in creative directions.” The sources informed rolling stones that the series was taking a “disturbing” turn, creating a hectic work environment. HBO and Depp have refuted it.
