After the announcement of their long-awaited return to Argentina, last week they released an incredible live album The Feeling of Falling Upwards – Live from The Royal Albert Hallwhich captures a lot of the magic that they have been able to transmit every time they go on stage, along with a visualizer of the epic version of “Youngblood” that is part of the album.
In 2020, the band made up of luke hemmings (lead vocals, piano and guitar), Michael Clifford (lead guitarist and vocals), Calum Hood (voice, piano and bass) and Ashton Irwin (drums and vocals), reunited for a jam session at the renowned Joshua Tree studio in California, one day that turned out to be unique, planting the seeds for what would later become their fifth studio album, 5SOS5 (2022).
after the tour Take My Hand World Tour”, which found them on stages in Europe and North America throughout 2022, also presenting their album Calm (2020), whose presentation dates had been affected by the pandemic, finally it is Argentina’s turn. With all this new material under their belt, the band is experiencing a great moment of creative maturity ahead of the tenth anniversary of their first album. The show at Luna Park promises to be a reunion party where they will shine with their new songs as well as play their inevitable hits from the early days.
The first and only time they came to Argentina was in 2017, and a lot has happened in their career since then. In that unforgettable show at Luna Park I found them performing songs from their debut album 5 Seconds of Summer (2014) and Sounds Good Feels Good (2015). Then came, in 2018, Youngblood, with which they became the first Australian band to have three number one albums on the Billboard 200 list, and the aforementioned Calm and 5SOS5. His unmissable return will be the opportunity to relive indelible hits such as “Youngblood”, “She Looks So Perfect”, “Ghost of You” and “Amnesia”, as well as to see the latest material live, with hits such as “COMPLETE MESS”, “Me Myself & I”, “Teeth”, part of the soundtrack of the hit series “13 Reasons Why”, and “Old Me”, to name just a few.
