Woody Harrelson confirmed that he could be the biological brother of Matthew McConaughey

The actors share a friendship relationship of several decades and shared several work projects.

Woody Harrelson is currently doing the press rounds in support of his new limited series of HBO’s “White House Plumbers”which means that it was inevitable that he would be asked about the recent revelation of Matthew McConaughey that the two actors could be biological brothers. Harrelson confirmed the news during an interview on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert”.

“Well, I’ll just say there’s some truth to that thought because we talked to Ma’ Mac, Matthew’s legitimate mother, and she let us know once… I mean, this is crazy,” Harrelson said. “We were in Greece watching the United States win the Basketball World Cup and I don’t know, I mentioned something about regrets. And I said, ‘You know, it’s strange that my father doesn’t regret it. And I’ve known Ma’ Mac for a long time, and she’s like, ‘I met…your father.’ And it was the ellipses that I found a bit troubling or interesting. ‘I met your father’”.

Similar to McConaughey’s version of the story, Harrelson immediately realized that Ma’ Mac’s reveal was “full of innuendo”.

“The year of the birth of [Matthew]Nine months earlier, she was on a sabbatical from her relationship with her alleged father, Jim,” Harrelson added.

As McConaughey said in his version of the story: “Father [de Woody] I was on leave at the same time my mother and father were going through their second divorce. Then there are the possible receipts and places in West Texas where there might have been a “known” gathering, meeting, or time.

“We want to get tested. [de ADN]But for him, it’s much more important.”Harrelson said. “I mean he feels like he’s losing a parent. But I say, no, you’re gaining a different father and brother.”

The two actors are longtime friends and co-starred in together “EDtv” and “True Detective”. They are currently planning an on-screen reunion with the comedy series Apple TV+ “Brother From Another Mother”in which they will star in fictional versions of themselves as they move their families together to a room on a ranch in Texas.
