The producer of the film Rust Move Productionssaid in a statement signed by his lawyer, melina spadone, that filming will take place at the Yellowstone Film Ranch instead of the original New Mexico location. Likewise, according to US media, the producer has also specified that Baldwin continues in the project as a co-producer and as an actor.

The New Mexico State Attorney’s Office filed two counts of involuntary manslaughter in January against Alec Baldwin for the death of Hutchins, which occurred on October 21, 2021 at a Santa Fe County church.
Baldwin was the one who activated the weapon that killed the cinematographer as it was loaded with live ammunition, something unusual considering that this type of bullet is prohibited on filming.
The person in charge of the security protocol during the recording, Hannah Gutierrez Reed, was also charged with involuntary manslaughter.while the assistant director david hallstasked with delivering the gun to Baldwin, accepted a misdemeanor charge in a plea deal.
Last month, the film’s production company and New Mexico authorities reached an agreement whereby the company paid a fine of $100,000 for security flaws in the filming found in the investigation of the facts.
Baldwin has always denied any responsibility for the tragedy and Gutiérrez-Reed has maintained that he verified that the cartridges with which he had loaded the revolver were blank cartridges.
