Felix Lobrecht (34) was in psychiatry for three months. The podcaster revealed that. Raised by his colleague Tommi Schmitt (34) with his current athletic form, the “Sun and Concrete” author replies in his usual humorous way: “I let sport slide quite a bit. Sorry that I was in the clinic for the first time I took care of my mental health. Sorry, Tommi, that I don’t meet your visual requirements right now. Sorry that after three months of psychiatry I’m not on point.”
Felix Lobrecht takes a break from comedy
It’s not the first time the podcaster has spoken about his mental health. In March 2023 he announced – also in a “Gemischtes Hack” episode – that he would take a show break of at least a year after his current tour. The 34-year-old explained at the time that he had been feeling sick and exhausted for months. He has also spoken publicly several times about his anxiety disorder, panic attacks and depression as well as his ADHD diagnosis.
In the meantime, however, Lobrecht has left the clinic and resumed his sports program, as he also explains in the podcast.
