Dune: part 2 presented its shocking first trailer

The epic continues with the adaptation of Frank Herbert’s acclaimed bestseller again directed by Denis Villeneuve.

Warner Bros. Pictures released the first trailer for “Dune: Part Two”. The saga continues at the hands of the filmmaker Denis Villeneuve and the next chapter of the famous novel Dune of Frank Herbert, with an international cast of stars. The film, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, is the long-awaited follow-up to 2021’s six-time Academy Award winner “Dune.”

The epic continues the adaptation of the acclaimed bestseller with new and returning stars, including the Oscar nominee Timothée Chalamet, zendaya, Rebecca Fergusonthe Oscar nominee Josh Brolinthe Oscar nominee Austin Butlerthe Oscar nominee Florence Pugh, dave bautistathe Oscar winner Christopher Walken, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Lea Seydouxwith Stellan Skarsgardwith the Oscar nominee charlotte rampling and the Oscar winner Javier Bardem.

“Dune: Part Two” will explore the mythical journey of Paul Atreides as he joins Chani and the Fremen in a war of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Faced with a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he strives to avoid a terrible future that only he can foresee.

Villeneuve directed from a script he co-wrote with Jon Spaihts based on the novel by Herbert. The film is produced by Mary Parent, Cale Boyter, Patrick McCormick, Villeneuve and Tanya Lapointe. Executive producers are Josh Grode, Herbert W. Gains, Jon Spaihts, Thomas Tull, Brian Herbert, Byron Merritt, Kim Herbert, with Kevin J. Anderson serving as creative consultant.

Villeneuve once again collaborates with his creatives from “Dune”: Oscar-winning cinematographer Greig Fraser; Oscar-winning production designer Patrice Vermette; Oscar-winning editor Joe Walker; Oscar-winning visual effects supervisor Paul Lambert; Oscar-nominated costume designer Jacqueline West. Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer is back on hand to create the score.

“Dune: Part Two” it was filmed in Budapest, Abu Dhabi, Jordan and Italy. The Warner Bros. Pictures film is scheduled for release in Latin America on November 2, 2023.
