The health of the actor was uncertain for a long time. Now the star is reporting for the first time again – albeit just barely.
Hollywood star Jamie Foxx (“Day Shift”) has addressed his fans with words of thanks for the first time since the disturbing news of his medical emergency. “Appreciate all the love!!! Feel blessed!” wrote the 55-year-old, who three weeks ago, according to the family, had “medical complications” on Instagram.
Behind the otherwise brief statement, the Oscar winner posted praying hands, a heart and a fox – the latter probably in reference to his name, which means “fox” in English with an x written on it.
Numerous other celebs and fans expressed further wishes and their affection to Foxx on Instagram. “Avengers” star Jeremy Renner, who had to be hospitalized a few months ago after a snow-clearing accident, wrote: “Sending you strength and love”.
The actor’s family didn’t provide any details about Foxx’s health in their statement three weeks ago, but wrote that he was “already on the mend with quick action and good care.”
