For football star Mario Götze (30), things are going well both privately and professionally. The Eintracht Frankfurt player reached the final of the DFB Cup with his club last Wednesday (May 3) after beating VfB Stuttgart. He is also expecting a second child with his wife Ann-Kathrin Götze (33), as the club confirmed after the game.
Father of a son since 2020
“Second good news of the day: Mario Götze will be dad again! Congratulations to you and your wife Ann-Kathrin,” says the tweet. The soccer professional is said to have previously confirmed the news in a Sky interview. Ann-Kathrin Götze and the 2014 soccer world champion have been married since 2018. A year later, in June 2019, there was a big celebration. On June 5, 2020, their son Rome was born.
