A tribute to writers who disappeared during the Argentine military civic dictatorship, the presentation of the book “New scenarios, new answers”, by Jorge Rachid; from the novel “The Band of the Poles”, by Federico Jeanmaire; from the book “Meeting Perón”, by Juan Manuel Abal Medina; of the book “Esteban Bullrich, warrior of silence”, by Pablo Sirvén, and a panel on the social outbreak in Chile in 2019, will take place tomorrow at the Book Fair, which is held in La Rural.

Meanwhile, at 7:00 p.m. at the Télam stand, there will be a talk “Recovered files: how we reconstruct the memory of 40 years of democracy”, in which Fototeca ARGRA (Association of Graphic Reporters of the Argentine Republic) and Télam will share the experiences of recovery and enhancement of journalistic archives, which combine actions of conservation, digitization and dissemination of photographic heritage. A true collective memory that records important events in the political, social and cultural history of our country in these 40 years of democracy.
Speakers will be Luis Ramírez Dávila, head of the photographic archive of this agency, Ezequiel Torres, photographer, member of ARGRA and the National Archive of Memory, with moderation by Analía Garelli.
At 2:30 p.m. the book “Esteban Bullrich, warrior of silence” by Pablo Sirvén will be presented. Alejandra Pizarnik Room, Yellow pavilion. At the same time, “Living Word. Tribute to disappeared writers and writers and performance: Unfinished Stories” will take place, with the participation of Graciela Aráoz. At 5:30 pm the novel by Federico Jeanmaire, “The Band of the Poles”, will be presented, with the presence of the author. Domingo Faustino Sarmiento room, White pavilion.
At 6:00 p.m., the talk “The history and resistance of the LGTB+ community in dictatorship” will be held. Pride and Prejudice Room: Space for Sexual Diversity and Culture, in the Ocher pavilion.
At 7:00 p.m., the book “Meeting Perón” by Juan Manuel Abal Medina will be presented. Carlos Gorostiza Hall, in the Yellow Pavilion.
At 7:00 p.m., the panel “The Santiago of the outbreak: The outbreak changed the face of the capital of Chile” will take place. Discontent materialized in the streets and monuments that had been around for decades and were even demolished by the public. The city of Santiago witnessed significant changes in its urban landscape. To explore the testimonies and the construction of the stories that emerged from this intense period, three writers will meet on this panel. Ernesto Sábato Room, Blue Pavilion.
At 8:00 p.m., the talk “Homage to Manuel Puig, 50 years after the edition of The Buenos Aires Affair” will be held. Room: Pride and Prejudice: Space for Sexual Diversity and Culture, Ocher pavilion.
At 8:30 pm Rita Segato presents the Brazilian Thought Collection in Spanish with the presence of the philosopher Vladimir Safatle. Horacio González Room – Space for Functional Diversity and Disability, in the Ocre pavilion.
