Fran Drescherprotagonist and producer of the series, expressed that she is very interested in setting up a meeting of the famous sitcom for celebrate its 30th anniversary this month of November. In an interview, he said that the meeting feels “imminent”but that would have to be after resolving the Writers strike in Hollywood.


“Before the strike, we were in talks with Sony to decide what could be fun and exciting for the fans,” Drescher explained to SiriusXM, adding: “Hopefully, the strike will end soon, the producers will sign a new agreement with the writers and we will be able to discuss again what we want the Nanny reunion to be.”

The actress did not rule out that a meeting could work as a “pilot episode” for some kind of revival of the series. “We really don’t know, we have a lot of options on the table and we’re open to everyone. We’re going to think about it because a 30th anniversary only happens once and this show It’s a gift that never ends thanks to its incredible longevity,” he said.
