Just a few days before the first birthday of the son of the two music stars Rihanna (35) and A$AP Rocky (34), the guesswork about his name seems to have come to an end. So far it has been assumed that her junior could be named Noah or Fine. Now an allegedly authentic birth certificate, from which the name and date of birth of the little one should emerge.
Name inspired by rap icon
According to the leaked document, the child’s real name is RZA Athelston Mayers, and the date of birth is May 13, 2022. If this is true, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky took inspiration from a well-known rap icon when choosing the name.
RZA is the stage name of musician and actor Robert Fitzgerald Diggs (53), who is best known as a member of the legendary hip-hop band Wu-Tang Clan. The other components of the name result from the middle and surname of the father, whose real name is Rakim Athelaston Mayers – whereby the A was dropped for Athelaston.
Rihanna’s Secret Hints?
Looking back, Rihanna seems to have been making subtle references to that name over the past few months. In some public appearances with her son, the singer wore a Wu Tang Clan logo T-shirt.
