Eleven years after her first ESC victory, Loreen triumphed again in Liverpool. “I’m so incredibly happy,” said the Swede.
Hundreds of people cheered Swedish ESC winner Loreen after arriving in Stockholm on Tuesday. From a stage in the Kungsträdgården park in the Swedish capital, the visibly moved 39-year-old beamed at her fans.
“I’m so nervous!” said Loreen, who triumphed at the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool on Saturday. Then she sang her winning hit “Tattoo” again for the Stockholm audience.
She had only just landed at Arlanda Airport. “I’m so incredibly happy,” she told the Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet after her arrival. “I’m so glad Sweden sent me.” After 2012, the singer competed for her home country at the ESC for the second time – and for the second time ended up at the top
