In the new trailer for “The Best Shape Of My Life”, Will Smith not only talks about weight loss success, but also about his mental health.
It was actually supposed to be a documentary that accompanies Will Smith (53) on his fitness journey. In the new one, however, the actor now gives emotional insights into his mental health. “I found out a lot of hidden things about myself,” said the “Men in Black” star in one scene. He is currently working on his autobiography, which “reveals so many things that people don’t yet know about me”.
Smith opens up to his family
In an extremely grueling scene, the Hollywood star sits at a table with his family members. “That was the only moment in my life when I really thought about suicide,” admits Smith in the recording. His daughter Willow (20) looks particularly upset in the scene – she listens to her father with tears in her eyes. When this moment was in Smith’s life, it is not clear from the excerpt.
“Will Smith is a scaffolding”
“What do you mean by Will Smith? […] is mainly a scaffolding. A carefully crafted character, created to protect myself. To hide from the world To hide the coward, “Smith addresses his family and the YouTube audience.” Will is embarking on extremely difficult journeys, “explains his psychologist.
In “The Best Shape Of My Life,” the actor tries to lose 20 pounds in 20 weeks. The six-part documentary series will premiere on November 8th on the 53-year-old’s YouTube channel.
