Lottery winner Chico wants others to share his wealth. In a new video he fulfills the wishes of two children – a touching moment for the millionaire.
“You just have to write me. I would really make your wishes come true.” That’s what Chico promised a few weeks ago on his new YouTube channel. The man from Dortmund won almost ten million euros in the lottery last year and spent part of it on expensive cars and luxury clothes in a way that was publicly effective.
With the “Chico I wish” campaign, he wants others to share in his wealth. The first to have his wish granted is a 43-year-old single father from Dortmund. More precisely: his son and daughter, eight and ten years old. The two children had wished they could sit in one of Chico’s sports cars. And since the family lives very close to the lottery millionaire, the wish comes true faster than expected – an emotional thing for Chico himself.
Chico is in tears
The multimillionaire shows the children the fast car, lets them sit in the comfortable leather seats, even has gift bags with him (Pokémon for the boy, cosmetics for the girl) – and is thievingly happy about the way their eyes widen. However, the life situation of the single father affects him even more.
“You’re a great dad. No shit, a really, really great dad,” says Chico while wiping a tear from his eye. The meeting is visibly close to the lottery lucky guy. “I wish I could do more.” After all: Chico wants to meet the family again in the summer – if there were good reports.

Chico doesn’t want to give away money or expensive watches
With his wish campaign, Chico wants to support those who are having a hard time in life. At the same time, this also gives him an opportunity to generate likeable and emotional content for his social media channels. Right at the beginning of the campaign, the man from Dortmund made it clear: there are no cash, Rolex watches or other expensive gifts.
Nevertheless, he received so many messages that he could not process them himself. This is done by four assistants who Chico now employs. “I get a lot of messages from you, and there are very sad stories, a lot of fates that are sad,” he tells his fans – and tears come to him again.
