Netflix added to its catalog a 2019 film, suspense, horror and science fiction, starring anthony mackie (star of Marvel) and Jamie Dornan (50 shades of gray) and made it a hit in his Top 10 in Argentina: Paratemporal.
The film directed by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead was released under the name SynchronousDespite its interesting plot and cast, it went somewhat unnoticed in movie theaters.
What is Paratemporal about?
Steve (Mackie) is a womanizer and Dennis (Dornan) is married with two children. They are both paramedics, co-workers and friends. In one last turn, they begin to come across a series of dead people in a strange state. After some exploring, they discover that he is related to a new synthetic drug called Synchronic.
Steve discovers that he only has six weeks to live and decides to buy the entire Synchronic in the city to protect the others, but discovers that the pill allows time travel, so he decides to help find Brianna (Ally Ioannides), the missing daughter of his partner.
Steve narrates how the pill works with different forms of ingestion, affecting different scales of time travel, until he finally plunges into this strange universe to try to figure out what happened to Brianna.
