The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within 14 days for 20 to 29-year-olds in Catalonia is currently over 2,500.
The federal government announced on Friday that the whole of Spain, with the vacationer islands of Mallorca and the Canary Islands, which are popular with Germans, will again be classified as a risk area from Sunday.
