Chico is a sought-after man – but apparently many just want his money. On YouTube, the lottery millionaire talks about an experience that particularly hurt him.
Kürsat Yildirim, known as Chico, has been enjoying his wealth to the full since winning the lottery for almost ten million euros last year. Unfortunately, he quickly experienced the downsides of such a win. The Dortmunder has repeatedly reported how acquaintances and strangers try to get his money.
In a conversation with real estate consultant Tommy Primorac, Chico reports on his YouTube channel about a case that apparently hit him particularly hard. It’s about an old friend he’s said to have known for 30 years. Chico sometimes borrowed 100 euros from him when he was short of cash before winning, but always paid back the money. Now this friend wanted to borrow money from him – 10,000 euros.
Chico lends 10,000 euros to a good friend
“I was scared. The people who used to lend me a few hundred euros suddenly want 20,000 or 30,000 euros from me,” says Chico. The lottery millionaire still advanced the money to his friend, but then there was radio silence: the man did not answer, seemed to have disappeared from the face of the earth.
After a few months, Chico happened to meet him again in a shop and confronted him. But the acquaintance made no move to want to repay the money – and apparently saw himself as right. “What’s going on? Do you want your money? You have 10 million euros,” the man said, according to Chico. An experience that deeply hurt the lottery millionaire. “It hurts so much,” he admitted in the video.
And it’s not the only experience of this kind. Since winning the lottery, Chico’s life has changed completely, as has his social environment. People who used to cross the street are now looking for contact, he reports: “Everyone is in touch.” Chico had previously reported some attempted fraud. A lady wanted to drug and rob him on a date. But Chico saw through this plan.

Some people seem to have a particularly lucky hand with the right lottery numbers. A lottery portal evaluated the first names of its winners. In the video you can see the top 3 for male and female first names.
