It will be a new opportunity to relive the experience of traveling aboard one of the most emblematic transports of that city.

The return of this initiative was achieved through a joint effort between the Municipality of Rosario, Rosarina Friends of the Rail Association, the Movi company and the Rosario Mobility Entity.

This is Car 277, a unit built in 1939, which used the streets of Rosario until 1963, the year in which electric trams stopped circulating in the city.

In July 2014, after hard and intense work by a specialized team made up of Semtur (current state company Movi) and the Rosarina Friends of the Rail Association, with contributions from the Municipality of Rosario, it was reconditioned and restored.

The recovery and putting into operation of this emblematic vehicle recovers a significant part of the history of the city and its urban mobility, as a protagonist in shaping the city’s identity.

Every time this unit runs through the streets of the city, a large number of neighbors come as a family to enjoy a ride on the historic tram.
