The Undersecretary of Tourism of Neuquén, Hernán Santarelli, thanked “those who are part of the organization of this festival, the chefs and producers who have been sowing this seed of Neuquén gastronomy.”
“I’ve been here for about 17 years and it’s a city that has grown enormously; Junín is no longer a transit destination, but a destination that has services, an accommodation structure and a beautiful party along with its great attractions,” said the official.
For her part, the local Tourism Secretary, Alicia Ruiz, also thanked “the municipal staff, the Vía Christi theme park, and all the people behind this gastronomy and fishing festival.”
As part of the agenda of planned activities, the provincial Ministry of Tourism distinguished five women cooks as ambassadors of Neuquén gastronomy and, in addition, the program Cocineros Argentinos was carried out live on the Chimehuín River waterfront.
The first edition of Casteando Sabores was held in 2018 with the support of the Junín de los Andes Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Tourism and Related Activities, and the festival grew in its pillars: sport fishing and traditional gastronomy. .
