Arnold Schwarzenegger has opened up about Bruce Willis’ retirement and gushed about his colleague.
Arnold Schwarzenegger (75) spoke about Bruce Willis (68), who was forced into Hollywood retirement due to health problems. “I think he’s fantastic,” enthused the 75-year-old about his colleague. “He was a huge, huge star for years. And I think he will always be remembered as a great star and a kind man.”
Action heroes know no pension
The “Terminator” star said he understood that the “Die Hard” actor had to retire due to his health conditions. “But you know, generally we never really retire. Action heroes reload.” Among other things, Schwarzenegger and Willis worked together on the star-studded action film “The Expendables”.
Willis’ family, which includes wife Emma Heming-Willis, 44, ex-wife Demi Moore, 60, and three children Rumer, 34, Scout, 31, and Tallulah, 29, announced last February that at the actor was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD). In 2022 they had already made it public that the Hollywood star suffered from aphasia.
