After winning the ATP tournament, Sophia Thomalla addressed loving words to her friend Alexander Zverev on Instagram.
Sophia Thomalla (32) raved about her boyfriend Alexander Zverev (24). “Congratulations, my dear,” she wrote about two pictures in which the tennis professional kisses the trophy for his ATP tournament victory in Vienna and Thomalla kisses the winner himself. “I couldn’t be more proud of you! I’m more exhausted than you. Must be your age,” joked the 32-year-old at the end of the post.
Zverev won his fifth tournament win of the season in Vienna. On Sunday (October 31st) he defeated the American Frances Tiafoe (23) in the final of the ATP tournament. In his acceptance speech he turned to his girlfriend: “Sophia! Thank you for being by my side since lately. I hope this won’t be the last time that we will touch a trophy together.” She would have to endure him on tour for “ten years or so”.
In early October, Thomalla confirmed their relationship via Instagram. One photo showed her lying tightly embraced with a man on the beach – her partner’s face could not be clearly recognized. “I still have an ace up my sleeve for 2021 …”, she commented on the recording and marked Zverev in the post.
