Ryan Gosling became known through the “Mickey Mouse Club” and apparently kept his passion for Disney even as an adult.
Actor Ryan Gosling (42) is a huge fan of Disneyland. His colleague John Stamos (59) revealed this on the podcast “Baby, this is Keke Palmer”. In it, he also said that Gosling describes himself as “obsessed” with the theme park and often visits it alone.
Stamos and Gosling share a passion for Disney
In conversation with actress Keke Palmer (29), the former “Full House” star first reported on his own passion for Disneyland. The hobby was always a bit embarrassing for him, because: “Who takes me seriously with the Mickey Mouse stuff?” But then he met Ryan Gosling at a dinner party, who was even more enthusiastic about Disneyland. According to Stamos, Gosling reportedly told him, “I’m obsessed. I’m a Disney adult. I go there alone.”
Career start in the “Mickey Mouse Club”
There are several paparazzi pictures from Disneyland showing the Ken actor in the new “Barbie” movie (in cinemas July 20). Alone – but also with friends and family. In 2011, for example, Ryan Gosling rode a roller coaster with his wife Eva Mendes (49). At that time, the acting couple was fresh together. In 2019, they visited the park for Mendes’ 45th birthday together with their two daughters. Gosling’s Disney roots go back to his youth: from 1993 to 1995 he appeared on the show “Mickey Mouse Club”, which also made Britney Spears (41) and Justin Timberlake (42) famous.
John Stamos can understand why Gosling loves Disneyland so much. “When you go through these gates, the rest of the world disappears.” The many visits would have helped him a lot: “I think it really defined who I am as an artist, as a person, because it was just so full of optimism.”
