The death of Peter Simonischek (1946-2023) also affected his colleagues from the Jedermann period in Salzburg. Veronica Ferres (57) worked with him from 2002 to 2004 and dedicated a commemorative post to him on her Instagram page.

“It was an honor for me to be on stage with you for everyone at the Salzburg Festival”. She also published four pictures together. Ferres played the paramour alongside Simonischek. She also emphasized: “You were a great actor and a long-time friend, you will not be forgotten, I wish you a safe journey, take care Peter.”
Another Jedermann colleague spoke up shortly after the news of Simonischek’s death on the social network. Marie Bäumer (54) wrote in a story about a joint recording: “Adieu, dear Peter. My best wishes are with you and your family.” She had embodied the love affair in Salzburg in 2007.
Peter Simonischek played Jedermann from 2002 to 2009 and had four Buhlschaft colleagues at his side during this time. In addition to Ferres and Bäumer, he spent two years together with Nina Hoss (47) and Sophie von Kessel (54) on the famous stage in front of the Salzburg Cathedral.
