Michael Bublé (47) was awarded a Grammy earlier this year for his album “Higher”, which was released in 2022. Only now, however, has the singer been able to hold the trophy in his hands at his home in Canada.
Sometimes it just takes a little longer
Bublé was honored for “Best Vocal Album – Traditional Pop” at the 65th Grammy Awards, one of the most important music prizes in the USA, on February 5. He beat Diana Ross (79), Kelly Clarkson (41), Norah Jones (44) and the band Pentatonix in this category.
Since Bublé lives in Canada, “it can sometimes take a little longer for things to get here,” he says in a clip. The 47-year-old has a very inconspicuous package next to him. He wants to share the moment he opens it and unpacks the trophy with his more than 3.3 million followers.
Meanwhile, the singer not only thanks the fans, but also thanks to God, his wife, their children, his family, friends and colleagues. “I love what I do, who I do it with and most importantly, who I do it for,” he wrote. Bublé thanks him for letting a boy from a small town live his dream every day.
Michael Bublé has been married to model and actress Luisana Lopilato (36) since 2011. Her first son Noah was born two years later, followed by son Elias in 2016 and daughter Vida in 2018. In the summer of 2022, the couple was able to announce the birth of their fourth child, daughter Cielo.
